Pulling Focus: Act of changing lens’s focus distance setting in correspondence to moving character/object’s physical distance from focal plane. If actor moves away, the focus puller will change distance setting on the lens during take in precise correspondence to change of position. Focus puller could shift focus from one subject to another within frame.
